The Ministère de la Sécurité publique is committed to ensuring that people with disabilities or physical limitations have access to its Web site. Most of the current and future content complies with or will soon comply with SGQRI 008, in conformity with the timeline for implementing the standard's three versions by the Conseil du Trésor.

Some content of the Ministère's Web site does not conform to accessibility standards for a variety of reasons. This content includes:

• Certain downloadable documents
• Cartographic objects (geomatics)
• Game-like or noninformational Flash or JavaScript features
• Audiovisual documents

Moreover, the Ministère de la Sécurité publique cannot guarantee accessibility of third-party content that is not subject to Québec's standard on Web-site accessibility for persons with disabilities.
